SITCA is made up of a variety of members from all aspects of forestry - including industry, consulting firms and government. The "Board of Directors" is comprised of equal representation from each of these groups.

SITCA's goals are to:

• Promote the viewpoints of its membership to the Government and Industry.
• Promote communication between members.
• Promote continuing education and training for its members.
• Promote high standards in cruising.

SITCA holds an annual field workshop and AGM in various locations in the southern interior of British Columbia. These seminars are an ideal place to make new work contacts for Contractors and Cruisers alike, and to keep up to date on new cruising developments.
